LBJ when running for the Senate waited untill it was sure that
he was only 89 votes short, when suddenly ballot box 13 turned
up with 89 solid votes for Johnson.
This earned him the nickname- "Landslide Lyndon"
(*For those born since the 60's, LBJ was US President
during the buildup of the Vietnam War... a war that came
before the Gulf War, fought by GW Bush's Daddy)
*Of course 19,000 voters who punched the wrong
hole for Gore in Fla. should be discounted<G> and
just to end the suspence... Bush should load the moveing
van<G>
The latest is a "Hand count of the vote" because as Dan Rather said:
"This thing is spandex tight!"
This thang 'taint over till the "Fat Lady" sings!
