Remember that famous account of people came to Jesus seeking his judgment of the woman caught in the act of adultery? When they kept on questioning Him, He straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." John 8:7 (NIV) The pastor told me this when I questioned him afterwards, "If Jesus does not condemn him any more, who am I to judge and condemn my brother who is struggling with sin? Don't we also struggle with our own sins? If he is accepted fully and unconditionally by God, who am I to reject him?" "But, why was no one shocked?" I asked.
