NOTICE OF 2ND INTERNATIONAL CYBER POW-WOW MISSIONARY SUPPORT AUCTION
Please forgive us if you get more than one copy of this message. This
message is going to all Cyber Pow-Wow participants and to everyone who
expressed interest in buying patches, etc., as well as to the RangerNet and
Traders mailing lists. We want to be sure that all interested parties got a
chance at this auction. All further announcements regarding this auction
will be confined to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED],
except for the notices to the bid winners.
Because we want to (1) raise some money to support RangerNet (we gave all
of the rest of the Cyber Pow-Wow proceeds to missions already), and to
raise more money for missions (There are STILL people who don't know the
Good News about Jesus Christ, and we want them to know!), and (2) give
certain people a fair chance to get some official 1999 Cyber Pow-Wow
goodies that they may have missed out on the chance to get the first time,
we are having an auction. Note that this is the last of the 2nd
International Cyber Pow-Wow stuff, and we have no plans to make more.
Collectors take note. This and what has already been sold are all there is.
The following collector's items are to be auctioned off in a sealed-bid
email auction:
* 49 Cyber Pow-Wow patches (minimum bid US$5.00 each)
* 1 Small Cyber Pow-Wow T-shirt (minimum bid US$10.00)
* 3 Medium Cyber Pow-Wow T-shirts (minimum bid US$10.00 each)
* 3 Extra Large Cyber Pow-Wow T-shirts (minimum bid US$15.00 each)
* 7 XXL Cyber Pow-Wow T-Shirts (minimum bid US$15.00 each)
* 3 bolo ties (minimum bid US$20.00 each)
If you wish to participate in this auction, you must follow these rules:
1. Children under 18 must have parent's permission to participate.
2. All bids must be emailed to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and NOT to any
other mailing address. (This is a sealed bid auction, so you have no idea
what others are bidding unless you win the bid, in which case you only know
that the others bid less than you.)
3. All bids must be in U. S. Dollars (check or money order). Payments must
either be in a check or money order for U. S. dollars drawn on a U. S. bank
or in an amount equivalent to U. S. dollars plus a US$15.00 conversion charge.
4. No credit cards will be accepted.
5. Only bids received by midnight UTC 23 July 1999 will be counted.
6. All bids must contain the following information:
a. Name of person bidding.
b. Full postal mailing address of person bidding.
c. Number and description of items bid for and the U. S. dollar amount
of bid on each.
d. An email address where you can be contacted.
7. If you win a bid for one or more of the items you bid on, then you will
be notified by email. Upon notification, you must promptly send payment,
which must ARRIVE within two weeks of your notification (or three weeks if
you are outside of the USA). Payment must be sent via first class mail (or
faster) in the USA, or via air mail if you are outside of the USA.

Note: any amount of payment sent in excess of the minimum bids stated above
may be counted as a charitable donation.
9. In the event that payment is not promptly received for any winning bid,
that bid will be declared invalid and the next highest bidder will be
declared the winner.
10. In the event of tie bid(s), the winner(s) will be determined by a
random drawing.
11. Net proceeds from this auction will be split between operating the
RangerNet mailing lists and web site until the next Cyber Pow-Wow in two
years (not to exceed US$700) and additional missionary support, as
designated by the Cyber Pow-Wow executive committee (Victor Zalakos, Duane
and Jennifer Wheeler, and Michael Paul Johnson).
12. Any questions about the auction not answered above will be decided by
the Cyber Pow-Wow executive committee, whose decisions are final.
