In the last week my friend (who will be called K to protect her) testified in the trial of her ex-boyfriend because he had raped and beaten her, and his actions as a drug distributer. The young man's father is a major drug distrubuter in the US and has a lot of money and power. After he went into jail due to her information and testimony she has been tailed by employees of the drug lord. Others close to her have been followed, even though we are not sure what for. Her life is in danger at every moment. She is a Christian girl, struggling with addictions going to AA, NA, and other counseling groups. She is only a recent convert and here has found many Christian friends and support. Unfortunatly her mother (for reasons unknown) called the school and was able to get her daughter kicked out. This leaves her daughter with no protection, and no support to keep her from going back to the life she led. We are attempting to help her out and hope to save her life. She needs a blanket of prayers right now. I would greatly appreciate any prayers that you can say for her.
