There have been several incidents of mailing list members' machines being infected
with email viruses, recently. Since these viruses mail out copies of themselves in the
name of people on this list, Majordomo lets them right through. Please:
(1) Don't open email attachments, even innocent-looking ones, unless you know exactly
what they are in advance.
(2) Please don't send any executable attachments via this mailing list, even innocent
ones. If you wish to share such a thing with us, please post it at a web site and give
us the URL and an explanation of what it is.
(3) Consider running some good anti-virus software (McAfee, Norton, etc.).
