I would keep it to the scriptures, and add some common sense.
1. sex causes children and children are a blessing from the Lord.
however, a child needs both parents, not just one. Although
single parent families are becoming prevalent in our society,
this is not the way God prefers it.
2. dealing with a child is a double full time job. Thus, it is best
to have a parental structure where one is a bread winner and
one cares for the child, or both earn the bread, and share the
repsonsibility. It is very hard to do this alone.
3. Heb 13:4 condemns all sexual activity outside of marriage. A
Christian should be acountable, and obedient to the Word of God.
4. We need to be an example to the world, not conformed to them
per the Apostle Paul.
