The quarter you saw on the homepage must have been the 200th Anniversary Quarter. The
Virginia Quarter shows sailing ships on the back of it. The D indicated that it was
minted in Delaware, as opposed to Philadelphia, Penn. Also, on the state quarters,
they had to cram everything on one side and have the state stuff on the other. Hope
this helps you!

Subject: [RR] Really Confussed
All,
I'm really confussed now.
The quater I have isn't the VA quater. Just looked at mint homepage.
The tail side of the quater shows a Rev War solider beating a drum.
Behind him is 13 stars with something that looks like the olympic torch.
Below the torch are the words: E PLURIBUS UNUM.
The Starnge thing is the D appears on the headside. However "In God We
Trust"
is on the left side NOT the Right side.
Any ideas?
Just like to know what I have here.
Thanks,
Noel"Spirit Rider"Bell
