*When yur done with yur fun.. and mayby forgot to check the oil in yur scoot.. the heat builds and a little puff of white smoke signals... Basket case! You push yur Harley in the garage, and after you give up.. you advertise *Basket case! It's a time of reflection..<G> *What went wrong! Last Saturday.. I was cutting some scrap wood in the yard on my table saw with the guard off.. Yes.. I know YOU would never do that.. ---------------------------------------- I was cutting up some old picnic tables, and a chunk of 3/4 poly-pro rope was hanging off. I might have cut it with my pocket knife, but intead just zinged it with the saw... *ZAMMM! the blades of my 10" craftsman saw became fused,tangled and grabed my hands to pull me into the spinning blade! My cold hands hit the table so hard that they went numb! I looked down at two claws.. and kicked off the power switch with my foot.. and the numbness turned into pain... *IT HURT! The pain was intense, and Cdr.Jen ran over from hearing the strange sound, and seeing me back up... "WHAT'S WRONG! WHAT HAPPENED..ARE YOU OK?" For a couple moments I could not talk.. I walked up into the house, *spooky like, and began thinking I had broken both hands! *PERHAPS I'D NEVER PLAY BANJO AGAIN! *OH NO! ----------------------------------- Waves of nausiea began to come, and I had to put my head between my legs, and ask for help.. *I wanted some cold water and some aspirin. I could not flex my fingers, so Josh threw the pills into my mouth, and I sat down.. As I rested the pain began to pulsate, and I tried to close my hands... They seemed fine.. *No gushing blood, or purple swelling from internal bleeding! Praise the Lord! The room spun a couple times, and settled down... *It was then I felt compassion for Basket cases!<G> I knew I would be fine... Mayby the boys know from falling off a bike or a rock the feeling of bliss that comes right before the pain.. God made us that way, perhaps the pain is a teacher.. *That would be a good time to get right with the *Lord! Instead of giveing into the pain, and freeking out.. ask the Lord to deliver you! You can try to be brave.. that's good<G> But when I become a basket case.. I look fer *MERCY!
