Good report Gary. I need to join FCF as well. I have the application
here but haven't had the time to get it filled out. That has been my
excuse for years. "No Time". I still need to get it going.
Great news on the boys. Keep up that burning heart for

This weekend, at the Blue Ridge chapter Spring Trace,
this ol' gray beard is going to finally test for his Buckskin
advancement.
It's been 13 years (PLEASE, no flames!) since joining
FCF and I finally mustered up the gumption, helped along by some good-natured
prodding from my Sectional Rep, Mark "Strong Defender" Shanks, to make
"Burning Heart" my "official" FCF handle. For quite some time it's
just been reserved, waiting for me to get tired of bein' a
pilgrim.
Please pray for me. More than reflecting a bygone
era I want to reflect my Lord in everything. I want to BE a Burning
Heart for my King.
On an even more important note: we had two boys get
saved in Trailblazers last week. Both are "troubled" boys- cousins who come
from broken homes. They live with their grandparents. Both have fallen in love
with Rangers and are asking lots of questions (spiritual ones). What a joy it
is to be a Royal Ranger leader. Love looking at those hungry eyes. Please pray
for Justin and Shawn. They've got a lot against them. But God is for
them.
