Sat. I was makeing Chicken ah la orange in the dutch oven when a rain storm came up, and it started blowing hard. Charcoal just wasn't going to make it.. so I put the oven on propane stove. I went on doing what I was doing.. thinking things were normal till I checked and I had burned up dinner. The racoons got a feast that night and I learned a lesson. The dinner was black coal on the bottom and the top was cold. Too much heat, not enough slow cooking in a oven... Yah wanna teach a cook cooking lesson that will stick with you?
