Here's what's happening:
Federal law clearly bans using federal funds for research on human
embryos. We fought hard for this victory to protect the unborn! But
the former administration discovered a loophole around existing law
and now the National Institutes of Health is accepting
applications to distribute federal funds for human embryo stem cell
research.
President Bush has gone on record stating his opposition to
such research, but pressure is mounting from all sides to push him to
accept this loophole!
The CENTER FOR RECLAIMING AMERICA is conducting this petition drive
to keep our tax dollars from being used to fund research on human
embryos -- human life at its most vulnerable stage!
A friend of yours has already signed the petition. More than 43,000
petitions have been delivered.� Now, we need your help to urge
President Bush to uphold his stand for life by sending him an
