BTW we were at a western council 50km's from here.
80 to 100 tepee's and a real sweet western town.
Mtn. men, trappers, 1850 period Rogers regiment, conestoga wagons, cowboys,
you name it.
Muzzle loaders, flintlock and percussion, bows and errors.
All spoke german just as it was when the west was won.
More authentic then the real thing.
You know we Germans do it best !
Lots of skins, beads and grizzly claws for sale.
Thought of you when I looked at some of the re-enactors wearing period
clothes.
Just beautiful.
