*I ain't all the way back.. but let me air
out my fingers a bit<G>

I remain in wonder at those who miss the mark
at *Reaching the boys..

It's my strong opinion that the failure is not
with the boys of 2001 or the *program they are
handed.. The failure if any remains the sole
responsibility of: ADULT LEADERSHIP!

Leadership is a pesky critter that slips though
our tired fingers. It's better to view it from
a perspective of challenge and *spirit. Consider,
that the hill you have the boys climb as a patrol
does not allways hold a treasure at the summit.

All views from the tops of hills show other taller
Mt's to climb.. Life has many challenges!

Your "treasure" as a Leader is to get the boys
to work togather for the good of each other, the
group and a thing "greater" than what they imagined!

If you do this by "working through" the boys and
other leaders.. you in fact *Give the program to
them.. and they "discover" the virtue for themselves!

You don't have to bribe them, or promise them the moon

and stars!

You do have to tell them the truth...
*No hill is climed, on foot, without effort.

Thanks!
