I did a "reflection" time around the recent campfire with 35 boys age 10 to 17 and they were free to talk.. 1. Boys want to play fair. 2. Boys want a say in affairs that impact them. 3. Boys are grateful to adults when events are plentiful and of a variety. 4. Boys are willing to bear hardship if there is just cause, and a fair outcome. 5.
