The drill sargent was Matt Etheridge. Paul and Beth Etheridge's
son. 10 years ago he was just a pioneer now look at him!
I did want to say we had a great turnout. Tearing down the pagent
backdrop and props only took till 11:00 p.m. both Friday and Saturday nights it
was a record! One year it was 3:00 am. We had 34 at our outpost
and also won a 1st place rocket ribbon and 2 first place event prizes and a 1st
place in camping as well as a 1st place in costume and something we have never
done before.... a drum roll please!!!! 3rd place overall trophy! It
has taken a lot of extra work to get that feller but it has all been worth
it. We had 3 boys saved and another 5 at the altar Praise the
Lord! I was able to lead 2 of them myself. What a priviledge!
God is good all the time!
One thing I was disapointed. They aquired my canon for Royal Patrol
to shoot off at wakeup, lunch and Pagent time! I sure missed firing that
thing off down in camp. That percussion blast ... I miss it!
Booooooom!!!!

duty! NOT! Man those things are nasty!
