Sorry if this is a little late, but I was on vacation for a week. That
said, let me give you a scripture reference in the very subject of
prosperity that I discovered while I was on vacation and I wrote yesterday
on the steps of our church's platform (IN OUR NEW BUILDING!!!) before it is
carpeted:

"Therefore, may it please You to bless the house (posterity) of Your
servant, that it may continue before You forever; for what You bless, O Lord
is blessed forever." I Chronicles 17:27 Amplified

Praise God!

Now if David, who had a heart that hungered after the Lord can pray like
that, you know what, so can I or anyone else. I choose not to miss out on
the Lord's blessings.

I posted a long time ago about a penny I saw in the parking lot, I almost
picked it up, but instead I said "I'll just let someone else have that
blessing" (trying not to be greedy) and walked on. Then it seemed the Holy
Spirit was saying to me what if that were a spiritual blessing? If I put a
blessing in front of you, you need to be receptive. So I went back and
picked up that penny and I didn't feel greedy at all about either = )

I will be standing on this scripture as I desire blessings to fall upon my
children, my children's' children ad infinitum...

Be blessed and please don't condemn me too much

the Chief

How quick we are to attack that which we don't understand, and how easily
we condemn a brother.

I have really listened to some of the greatest preachers of "prosperity
theology" -- names you would recognize -- and NEVER did any of them ever
teach that if you're sick or poor that it is because you are in sin. If you
listen to them, you might learn what the actual Bible has to say about the
subject and you might actually learn how to pray for and help those who are
sick or poor.
