All I would like some liberty and share with you a event that I was a part of
Monday.

On June 21 a longtime friend of myself and family went home
unexpectedly.  She was only 48 years of age and in good health and full of
life.   Know, I must say that a few years ago that sounded much older but the
older I get the younger that sounds.

She went to church Wednesday Night, told her childeren that she loved
them and that she would see them in the morning.   They went to bed and
during the night God called her home.  She was a teacher that tought me the
importance of not only writing but writing well.  One of her favorite lines,
while cuting out pages of my term papers, was "I see were your going, but
your going the Long way.   Get to the heart of what your thinking."   She
also showed me the importance of looking at things from a Biblical principal.
Even at her memorial service the pastor spoke on the notes that she had
written in her bible next to the story of Martha and Mary at the dinner for
Chirst.   Martha had a servant's heart but the wrong motive, Mary had a need
to be close to the master and meet his needs.  She spoke about how each one
of us needs to have a heart of a servant and be willing to look at ALL THINGS
in a praisefull and thankfull way.....a combination of both Mary and Martha,
close to the master but willing to do whatever is needed.

During the service I reized that I was not looking at things the way
that the word teaches but with my worldly eyes.   I am praying daily that God
will allow me to look at my situations with a thankfull heart and voice of
praise.  I am also striving to live each day as though I will be going home
at any moment.....always ready to go home.

      Thanks for letting me share.
