While not in COR, I remember benefitting from their "ministry". Arch-Duke Stalwart the Oak-Heart Knight, I remember back in about '83 or so camping with a bunch of Pioneers and Trailblazers from Central Assembly of Raytown maybe on your place and the COR attacked the camp at some awful hour in the morning. The commanders were expecting it of course. All the boys had been rode hard and put away wet. They were zonked! I remember laying there and hearing this clanking coming from far away. It got SLOWLY closer. Seemed to take forever so it must have been quite the march. Finally they fell upon the camp sword clashing with much yelling. One of the boys stuck his head out of the tent and said, "Oh its just the commanders goofing around!" Well it took awhile to roust everyone but it was quite the spectacle. And then off they marched into the night. Its a good memory!

Sires,
I appreciate the response that I have gotten to my first message but wish to hear from more of you. Please send me a note and let me know where you are. I have copies of the VERY rare and unique, "Handboke of Chyvalry or Knyghthode: The Chi Omega Rho Handbook", last revised in 1998. I am Questing this month with Sir Hurin IronHammer, a name most will remember. I can't wait to see the shadows cast by the candle lanterns, the muffled clink of armour, the glow of polished helms and swords. And...oh, yes, the whimper of Squires. The dangers are the same...the roads before us has tests, pitfalls, thieves and creatures from the Dark One...only the armour of God holds our mortal bodies and souls from the hold of the Evil One. Ah, the memories flood back....
