Gentle Edward,
Thank you for the kind comments and rememberance. Though the Inquisitors drove us underground, blotting our name from their roles, the heart of CORR beats on. Everytime a Pow-Wow uses the knighthood theme, it was inspired by CORR. I thank God for using the CORR membership to bring many boys to salvation. That will be its greatest legacy.
Gentle Rick,
That was at my place deep in the Ozarks. Night attacks were never our strong point...especially since the boys had fished, swam, went caving, collected various reptiles and ran all over the property that day. It is somewhat like the recent TV commercial where men-at-arms attack an unsuspecting mundane till they find he has the proper credit card and the warriors sulk off and attack the neighbor.,,,And yes, the 2001 NE SoMO FCF Spring Outing was in the same place we did the medieval night manuevers. It rained so horribly that we held the testing at Harris' Fort. The evening service in the log structure reminded me of a colonial log tavern with men and their candle lanterns sitting all around and others perched above, dangling their legs off the second and third floors. It was a great evening of singing, fellowship and worship.
