Hi Rangernet! Well it has been a long evening. I tried several things to stop the pop ups. I used Adaware, Spybot and Norton Antivirus and CWshredder and Zone Alarm. All came highly recomended and worked for me in the past. Seems that someone or some thing is trying to get my goat and is sending me pop up adds. I cleaned the system last night and had a 127 more today.
I stopped by Staples and asked for the BEST program they new. I had a choice of about 6 that they had on the shelf. I told him what was happening to me of how the windows were poping up using my explorer (most of the time) and he recommend GhostSurf PRO. I tried all the other stuff and installed this Ghost Suf Pro a couple of hours ago. So far so good. I will know more in a couple of days. I appreciate the ideas and help you all gave me.
