*Tommorow the entire Outpost A#1 will use public mass
transportation to the dowtown Portland waterfront park
to attend an event of National importance.
This november will be an election and it is GMA#3911's
first time to cast his vote for National Leader.
Over 35 years ago.. the speaker was a Naval officer in
good standing. Like the current president, he recieved
an Honorable discharge. He then returned and got a job
in politics.
Tired blue collar working men might easily dismiss the
desires of GMA#3911 to be there and participate in this
grand event. You may have even allready made your mind
up and are willing to stand firm on conviction.
Youth however, are tied to the desire for change and a bright
future. They see their time ahead as blank canvas to paint
their vision... and it may be a very different nation that
will result. Our desire to confirm conviction and tradition
is good. But I hope for myself that I never cross the line of
demanding conformity to my fadeing desires...
*I beleve the "Greatest Generation" is about to arrive.
*The times they are a'change'n...
