Out here in So Cal, the District Executive Staff along with the District Commander chooses the theme each year.  For the last few years we have carried the theme throughout the year, starting with the  District Commanders Conference in January.  Our section follows the concept and tries to incorporate it into our Ranger Kids Day Camps as well as our two Sectional Campouts.   We have used the medieval/ knights twice in the last 10 years or so, with a different twist the second time.  We use the Space theme 4 years ago.  This year it was Reach Every Boy.   Jim Hufferd
