Also check out God's New Behind the News (godsnews.org). Both sites have information on this that's rather revealing. I was originally taught that the "Russian" invasion of Israel would take place prior to the Rapture. However, others say now that it's after the Rapture. Only God knows. However, those "missing weapons" aren't missing. They're probably buried where they should be in the Bekka Valley and other sites around the valley referred to in Ezekiel. I know of Rosenthal's theory, which is really mid-trip. In other words, while we're still useful as witness, we will be here (first half of trib), then we're removed since we have not been "apppointed to wrath." I do think it's a possibility, but since the Holy Spirit is the restrainer, and He indwells the true Body of Christ, our removal prior to the "revealing" of the anti-Christ might be essential. That's stated clearly in 2Thessalonians, wherein Paul writes "And now you know what is reastaining that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming." (2: 6-8).
