Yup definitely,
Line Searches are my Specialty! That's why
I'm going back to the Country's service next month! ;) I'm very much
into search & Rescue.

Perhaps a lost Commander hunt is in order.
on a sierious note. Servers go up servers go down. Lines go
up lines go down. I have known some isps to have a teck sleep in
the computer room so when something goes down he can resolve it before anyone
knows it went down.... We know Trust me we know.....grin.
Even secure links go down. Trust me we know. GRIN!

Does anyone maybe have his phone number?
Now I am worried about him! I'm glad to know it wasn't just my
computer and that this is a systemwide thing but on the other this is really
a surprise. I hope that his server didn't "hiccup" or something
because I know from running a board like that that servers have a tendency
to do that. I have never tried to install IRC but my Trillian IM
client is supposed to be able to handle it. I have sent emails and
they have not come back to me, so I guess he is getting them, but they may
be piling up in his inbox if it is working. I hope that he didn't forget to
pay the bill. He uses ICQ too and I haven't seen him on that lately
either.

No one seems to know what is up at the moment. Most
of the admins and a few other users are hanging out on irc trying to
figure out what's going on.
If you have an irc client the
address is irc://quakenet.org/rangerforums.
If you don't and you have a mozilla browser installed, you can install
Chatzilla here http://www.hacksrus.com/~ginda/chatzilla/
There
someone on most evenings, EST.

Hmmmm.... I was
wondering if something was wrong also as I had not received any
daily digests for several days. I just tried to log on to the site
& received a error message about not having permission to use
it. Here's his e-mail address, [EMAIL PROTECTED].
I'll try to raise him also.
