The new, improved RangerNet features:

   * Messages archived at http://lists.rangernet.org/pipermail/rangernet/
   * Improved web interface at
     http://lists.rangernet.org/mailman/listinfo/rangernet
   * The links at http://rangernet.org/subscribe.htm work again.
   * [email protected] is forwarded to [email protected], so
     it should be easy for you to get the posting address right.
     (Either one works.)
   * Automatic bounce processing saves time in maintaining the list
     while still preventing mail server overload.
   * Much better spam and virus mail resistance than Majordomo-- no
     infinite mail loops with autoresponders.
   * Additional mailing lists available for Royal Ranger and other
     ministry use
   * Mail server has limited access so blacklisting due to abuse by
     others is less likely
   * IP address shared only with Christian ministry sites + one
     Christian business site
   * Posting limited to RangerNet members posting from their subscribed
     address. (Other mail will be silently discarded without being
     read, as it is almost always spam.)
   * The content of the messages is what you make it.

The last point, above, is where the Golden Rule comes in. Post the kind of stuff on RangerNet that you believe that Royal Rangers and commanders would like to read on this list, and this mailing list lives up to its ministry potential. Remember, it isn't just today's email, but also the message archives. (Older archives are available outside of RangerNet.org-- see http://rangernet.org/faq.htm.)
