We have had some guys make some things for our Auction at Commanders
Conferences. One of the guys has a plasma cutter connected up to a computer
and makes some really neat things that go at auction as well.
I have a neat READY light swtich that he made and sold as well as a camp light
pole with my last name on it. Pretty cool stuff.

We just had our Commanders Conference here in NCAL/NEV. You are right Mark,
it is a great time of learning and fellowship. We also have a banquet in the
evening where they pass out the Leadership Medals to whoever earned them the
past year. We even have an auction. I was going to bid on a Johnnie Barnes
print but it was just a little out of my reach. It is a great way to keep up
on what is going on in Rangers. Always great to see old freinds and meet new
ones too.

Just a reminder. If you tell someone you are going to be at a campout or
training event... please consider them if something does come up and you can't
make the event. Please call and let them know you won't be there. It really
doesn't take much to pickup a phone and say...hey I won't be able to make
it..."
We had a great time the weather was wonderful. Council fire was tremondous
and the fellowship was excellent. Best of all it was for God's Glory and He was
Glorified.
I hope Bob will share some pictures with us from their LTA campout that ran
at the same time.
Also we need to talk up the JLTA and the Commanders Conference. Try your
very best to get your commanders to attend or send boys to the JLTA event. I
have always found the Commanders Conference a great time of fellowship and
learning and preparing and hope to see you all there.
