What is more disturbing to me than the possibility that one of the members of the Roman Catholic college of cardinals could possibly be an anti-Christ is the anti-Catholic, denominational, divisive discussion about that remote possibility. Wouldn't our time be better spent praying for the Roman Catholic leadership for wisdom and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit in selecting the next pope? Sure, the history and theology of the Roman Catholic church is full of things I don't like or agree with. Nevertheless, there are many born-again, spirit-filled Christians in the Catholic church. They are my brothers and sisters in Christ.

People who live in glass houses should not throw stones, nor should people with logs in their eyes try to remove motes from someone else's eyes. The Bible doesn't say that you must agree with the 27 truths of the Assemblies of God to be saved. There are probably some people in the AoG who are fake Christians, offering mental assent to those truths but who don't really believe in Jesus in their heart. There are probably more who don't intellectually agree with these same truths, who will be saved, because they believe in Jesus in their hearts and confess Him as Lord, in spite of their confused theology.

Some food for thought and prayer...
