All,

Our boys have elected to pursue the High Action Rangers trail in the Expedition group. Two of the merits listed for them are Wilderness First Aid and Search and Rescue. However these are nowhere in the Silver Merits workbook available from National. Additionally, it says that they should order the High Action Rangers Manual. I'm sorry, what manual. I've heard that there are Silver merits not yet published that are available over the 'net.
Is this true and if so, where?
Also, please keep me and my family in prayer. I have been diagnosed with a tear in the lateral miniscus cartilage in my left knee. I am scheduled to see an orthopaedic surgeon this Thursday. The good news is it is workman's comp at this time but that will be finalized only from this doctor's recommendation (as I understand it). A lot of you know that I am a single parent and the family needs my income. I also know that God is still God but sometimes when you're in the middle of the battle your focus gets a little narrow and you can forget that truth.
Please lift us up.
Interestingly, I'm supposed to teach on spiritual warfare for the youth missions team this Sunday. Could use some prayer support from others in the ranks with me.
Thank you.

In His Grip,

Gary Burnin' Heart Rothwell
