It's not quite there yet. The bonus to the hugh price of oil is the ability to justify the overhead of extended drilling in Russia's vast fields in Siberia. It's unknown how many millions of barrels are out there in Siberia, but experts have said they are even larger than the Shale deposits and Arabia *combined*. Of course, if you ask me, drilling this will be unnecessary as we'll be raptured away and come back with Our Lord long before they are needed...

Was it not said in years past that the price of one barrel of crude oil is
too low to justify the extration of oil shale in the US-Rockies and the oil
sands in northern Alberta ?
At the current price the machinery to process the US and Canadian Oil
deposits should be running in high gear.
Considering that the oil deposits in N-Alberta accumulate to 2 1/2 times the oil reserves of S-Arabia

Any word about that yet ?
