*Take yur BP med's and hang-on to yur Hay bail sort'n machine..

This don't have a stink'n thing to do with Royal Rangers!

Nope.. This is about freedom and *think'n outside the box. *I just got a $300
fuel bill for running around Oregon.. and don't think it's anyones problem but
my own to
figure out. I also don't back warfare for cheap oil prices..

Nationwide are located JDM Japanese replacement engines and transmissions..

The Geo metro and Suzuki swift are 3 cyl 900cc engines in both carb and EFI
configuration
that due to Japanese regulations get pulled with about 35-40K of mileage and
sold to the world
cheap.

Pick up a copy of SAND SPORTS magazine, and view the variety of steel tube
frames made
for lightweight VW powered sand rails..

*Here's my Idea..

High MPG hybred cars cost the family plenny... In Oregon auto's that get in
excess of 50 mpg
do not need to pass any enviromental smog check.. altho they do need to be
street legal, and
carry insurance.

Tube frame.. alumimum plate floor VW front end and Geo-Metro power,... mounted
mid engine..
behind passengers w/automatic trans by mateing to '68 up IRS VW rear arms via
CV joints.
disk brakes and 13" radial tires...

"Body" to be made of windsurf sail nylon and mylar.. attached with straps and
velcro.
windscreen of polycarbonate/lexan polyrace seats with 4 point harness..

60 Miles per gallon+ and quarter mile speed of 16 sec's and top speed of 87mph!
Unlimited economy when running downhill!

20 gal tank gives this ride a 1,200-1,400 mile range!
@ $5.00 US gal of "gaso-alcho-Hot sause" = .08 cents a mile!

Winter driveing will require a off-shore neo-prene survival suit<G> and gloves!

*Parking improved by standing on it's rear.. where attached "rollers" alow it
to be
pushed into a corner<G> or tight que.
