Hi Mike, on Monday the 25. July about 1000 Pfadrangers and their leaders came and they built up most of the structures all over the campsite incl. the washing facilities and about 350 flagpoles were set! On Friday the structures were pretty well finished for the opening on Saturday. As you may have noticed all the structures except the arena structures are all built with lashings !
The Tower Bridge in the city of Londinium was an very impressive building. Here is the model under the bridge. Also in miniature lashings. http://www.bundescamp.de/pictures/displayimage.php?album=23&pos=1#mid Here in still unfinished state on the left. http://www.bundescamp.de/pictures/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=5&pos=517#mid This here is a functioning ferries wheel by OP 35 Stuttgart http://www.bundescamp.de/pictures/displayimage.php?album=23&pos=22#mid http://www.bundescamp.de/pictures/displayimage.php?album=23&pos=20#mid Also in lashing technique except for the wheels in the center. The tower in the background is 30m/100ft high, also by OP 35. http://www.bundescamp.de/pictures/displayimage.php?album=23&pos=25#mid Chariot race http://www.bundescamp.de/pictures/displayimage.php?album=26&pos=74#mid http://www.bundescamp.de/pictures/displayimage.php?album=26&pos=72#mid http://www.bundescamp.de/pictures/displayimage.php?album=26&pos=77#mid I hope this is not too much .
