Well Praise the Lord. We just finished our Ranger of the Year Event.

We originally had 29 boys registered and when it was all done and said we had
20 boys evaluated. The boys and young men were given a quality evaluation and
were presented neat medallions and certificates. We had a good group that we
will send on to District Evaluation in a couple weeks.

I have pictures to post and will get them on the website found at the end of
this email.

I was the statistician and was able to get a good workout of the software I
have been programming to run a Ranger of the year Event. I was pleased to only
find 3 small cosmetic bugs that I have already fixed and a new version is
available for free download...13.8 meg in size. If you are wanting to run one
of these events save yourself a bunch of work and let this
http://readyrangers.tzo.com/rotyeval.exe do the work for you. A outpost
commander can also download this software and fill out the application and
email that to the ROTY Coordinator all easy and fun. If you have a broadband
connection get the full http://readyrangers.tzo.com/roty.exe it has built in
help videos that show you just how to get er done!

Next year look for a BIG Event to be sponsored to give our boys some extra
incentive to get out and go to this evaluation. It's fun and it's recognition
that is well deserved.

My hat is off to Dan Rockafellow and Travis Hendon and Ron Squires for their
work in getting these 3 sections into a quality ROTY Event. The staff that
came and gave of their time were terrific and we even had homemade pizza! YUM!

We you and I and the rest of the Leaders in Royal Rangers have laid some mighty
fine foundations in our boys and young men in many aspects of their life. I
praise God for Royal Rangers. Thank you each and everyone.

Mark Jones, So. Missouri SW Division Public Relations Coordinator (I think
that's right! GRIN!)
