Just when I thought I was done.... Not yet! The program that makes Ranger of the Year Evaluation Fun and Easy....
The ROTY coordinators screen now has a button to turn off the password protection so if one does not want the aggravation of password protected screens you can turn that feature off. Basically the program has two uses. The Outpost Commander and the ROTY Coordinator. The outpost commander inputs his rangers into the program and then after verifying the information and evaluation selections are correct he clicks on a button and sends a small file to the ROTY Coordinator who then receives the email and file attachment and then imports this data with the click of a button. Then at ROTY Event time all the information needed to run the event is already typed in and ready to calculate and evaluate. I worked the import process over a little to make it easier to import many outposts files. I should have the updated ROTYcoordinator and ROTY Outpost help videos out in a few days. Right now the links found on the bottom of this page are just the program with no built in videos. This program will make running the ROTY Event fun and easy. Let the program do the figuring out of who goes where and what boys are on what lists. All the ROTY coordinator has to do is get the staff, place and print off enough tests and answer sheets to get the job done. http://readyrangers.tzo.com/rotyeval.exe the program is free and works on any XP computer. Another great program for Outpost ROTY record keeping is http://www.rangerdepot.com/ This program does a fine job of compiling your ROTY Event boys information. Once completed it will print off a ROTY Evaluation Form that goes to Section-National Evaluations.
