I have been using that program for years and I still have no idea as to how
to really use it, at least in the way that you have described. I have
always backed my data up on redundant hard drives. Just yesterday I placed a
new Seagate 400 GB hard drive in my system. I picked the Seagate because it
has a 5 year warranty as opposed to the 1 year warranty offered by the other
brands. Soon Maxtor will become Seagate. But there is a teachable moment
here in all of this to share with boys, you can teach them the value of
things and what's important with it. If it's important like that you have
remember that when it's all said and done it's Jesus who saves! He's your
back up when your knee goes down infront of the Lord for the day of
reckoning.
Be Blessed!

Subject: [RR] Back up that data!
Hi just wanted to remind you to back up your computers data.
I came home last night to find a error message on my computer and after I
shut it down and rebooted it would no longer boot up no mater what I did.
Praise God for Norton System Works and the automatic backups it does. I was
able to stick that recovery CD in and rebuild my 120 gig harddrive back to
two days ago in about a hour. This beats rebuilding the computer one cd at
at time and all the registrations and updates one has to do to get it back
up to date it took me close to 2 eight hour days a few months back and that
was just the programs.
I also backup by burning critical data to a CD on a weekly basis.
If you have two computers networked its a good idea to put critical data on
both systems.
Ok. Now back to our Regular Royal Ranger Programming!
