Rough and rusty thoughts..
A friend.. is a playmate, a buddy.. helpmate and *resource.
Two can do more than one, when teamed togather as friends.
God respects the bond of friendship, and grants favor when two or more
gather
in his name. true friends guard and protect each other, with love and
respect.. or
more casual notions.. that tolerate some stress or cheer some simularities.
Often times the best "teams" come from people joining a common cause as
"friends"
even when assigned as individual strangers. Sometimes we don't pick our
friends so
well, when left to our vices. Time and experiance refine our ability to
make new
friends.. or become a friend by takeing a slight risk, or by understanding
anothers
situation.
Key to all this is the state of MORALE among "friends" for that is where we
best find
peace.
A "Leader" among peers will guide the group along the path to high moral and
investment
in a common cause. The leader will respect the abilities of his friends and
use his talent to
be both a encouragement, and a information resource. Haveing a leader to
give the group
a "heads up" of what is comming, keeps a patrol on purpose for a group
goal.
A Leader who teaches "Leadership" is constantly inventing ways to
communicate the
mission, the message and move the group to higher purpose. Sometimes the
duty of the
"Leader" is to explain program... *but not too much. This is because this
leader desires the
heavy lifting to come from the "led" ...so that when work is done, they can
say-
We did this ourselves-
