prophet. We need to pray for Israel wisely, she IS under judgement.
Regarding our president, I'm reminded of the words of God to Israel
through Jeremiah.
Pray for the land where I am exiling you that it may go well for you.
Hmmm...a land of sorcerers, pagans, idol worshippers, sexual
promiscuity.......hmmmm
Whether you agree with George or not, he is still the one that God
has placed over us, and before my Republican brothers shout Huzzah!,
YOU'D better be praying for Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid and (GASP!)
Ted Kennedy as well.
God's intent is ALWAYS mercy first. It's only when He cannot find one
who will stand in the gap that judgement comes.
God was willing to forgive a CITY of sexual predators and violent
homosexuals if He could find just ten righteous people. Genesis 18:17-32
God forgave Israel according to the word of Moses, Numbers 14:20.
Note they had NOT repented, fasted, asked forgiveness, etc. etc.
I will stand in the gap (the gap- the distance between the way things
are and the way God wants them). Will you?
