Topik penelitian yang didukung adalah yang berkaitan dengan pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan berkelanjutan sumber daya laut dan pesisir di wilayah Jawa Tengah bagian Utara dan Selatan, Sumatera dan Sulawesi Selatan, serta mencakup berbagai macam disiplin ilmu termasuk biologi dan ekologi kelautan, kimia laut, ecological modelling dan pengelolaan kawasan pesisir. Fulbright scholarships are funded in order to promote mutual understanding and scholarly exchange between Indonesia and the United States. The Fulbright Scholarships are available to Indonesian citizens with excellent qualifications as stipulated in the program requirements listed below. However, preference will be given to applicants coming from the faculty of state and private institutions of higher education. The competition is not open to employees of AMINEF, employees of the U.S. Government or its contractors in Indonesia. THE ARTS: Dance; Fine and Applied Arts; Architecture; Music; Theater Arts; Museum Studies; Arts Management or Cultural Preservation Management Important Note: Applicants are expected to have relevant academic background and/or be able to prove that their experience, academically or professionally, and preparations in another field will be relevant to their chosen field of study. Applicants are also expected to demonstrate that the knowledge they gain through this program will contribute to mutual understanding between Indonesia and the United States. REQUIREMENTS Applicants should: Have a Sarjana (S1) degree with minimum GPA of 3 (from 1-4 scale). Be fluent in English as indicated by TOEFL (International or Institutional) score of at least 550. The score should not be more than two years old. Please contact AMINEF for information on the Institutional TOEFL. Be currently employed with at least two years of working experience following graduation. Possess leadership qualities Possess good understanding of Indonesian and international cultures. Be committed to their home institution and return to it for a minimum of 4 (four) years upon completion of their Fulbright Program. Demonstrate commitment to their chosen field of study and expertise. Should be under 35 years of age by the application deadline.
