Our client, is a leading developing of clean technology projects. Currently they are looking for a high caliber candidate to be posted at their power generation division. The scope of power generation projects envisaged includes all forms of utility plant, clean coal, CCGT, industrial power, biomass, waste water digestion, hydro, geothermal, coal mine/bed methane and landfill gas.
*ASSOCIATE, POWER GENERATION* Key Responsibilities: - Reporting to Vice President, Power Generation - Indonesia - To examine and develop opportunities for carbon reduction projects in the power generation and natural resources sectors - This will include examining the feasibility of projects, discussing carbon potential with owners and developers of assets in the sectors, providing data for financial anaysis, agreeing scope of projects with projects partners, developing or assessing contruction and supply contracts for the procurement of power general equipment, oversight of construction contracts and commissioning - The Associate, Power General will become part of growing team of Development, Construction and Operational Staff Key Requirments: - Mechanical Engineer graduate (overseas graduate would be preffered) - Capable of doing basic energy and thermal calculations - 3 - 5 years experience on a variety of projects in the power generation sector including some experience on small scale (less than 50MW) projects - Proven experience with involvement for projects in excess of US$250,000 - Excellent communication skills - Good analytical skills - Experience with contracting contract preparation or monitoring - Good English both oral and written is a must and ideally knowledge of one other asian language (Mandarin would be an advantage) Should you find yourself interested in the job opportunity, please forward your CV to [EMAIL PROTECTED] shortly.
