A reputable Taiwanese company is looking for several qualified candidates for
its Singapore office
System Engineers (Singapore)
Responsibilities:
1. Implementation, maintain and administer the Customers and Systex NOC
network and servers (Windows, Linux or Unix based).
2. Installation of system/network equipment in customers premises.
3. Perform 1st and 2nd level troubleshooting and attend to faults reported by
customers.
4. Perform testing and evaluation of new system/network equipment as and when
needed.
5. Perform remote network management service.
6. Assist in pre-sales product and solutions presentation and demo to customers
when needed
7. Follow up with technical and operation queries from customers as and when
needed.
8. The job requires you to be on standby support after office-hours. You must
be willing to work after office hour or during weekend when needed.
9. Perform any other duties as and when assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, IT or Computer Science
Experience in setting up Windows or Unix/Linux based applications.
Experience in setting up of Cisco equipment with minimum CCNA/CCDA
certification
Procuring or planning to achieve or already achieved CCSP, CCNP, CCDP or
equivalent certification will be an added advantage
2 to 3 years working experience in System Integration environment will be an
advantage
Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and under
tight schedule is preferred
Must be self starter and willing to learn new skills at all times
Adhere to processes and schedule implemented
Must be a good team player and willing to share knowledge and information

Responsibilities
Acquire NEW accounts and work closely with customers to determine their
existing and future IT/Telco/SP needs and proposing suitable products, services
and upgrades
Managing and developing deep penetration into existing accounts and acting as
the main interface between the client and the organization to ensure an optimal
level of service
Negotiating profitable business in accordance with organization's policies
and liaising with technical support staff regarding technical solutions and
support issues
To prepare and present commercial proposals to customers from the lead
identification stage up to the contract closing stage and the implementation
stage.
Conduct presentations and the preparation of sales proposals, tender/bids,
contracts and account management plans
Requirements
Minimum diploma in Business, Engineering or IT
2 4 years solutions sales experience in handling direct sales in hardware,
software and networking products
Excellent sales track record in Telco/Service Provider sector
Experience in system integration advantageous
Eloquent, resourceful, self-motivated and results-oriented
Outstanding negotiation and excellent communication skills
