Mohammed Bin Rashid Charity Foundation carries our relief operations in Indonesia 2009-10-10 20:14:33 WAM Dubai, Oct 10th, 2009 (WAM): The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Foundation (MBRMHCF) has distributed two thousand food kits among the victims of the recent earthquake in the Indonesian Island of Sumatra. Each food kit is sufficient enough for a family of seven members for a whole month. The Foundation has also distributed over 20000 hygiene kits and 4000 blankets among the victims. The Foundation's delegation, which includes Acting Director of the Foundation Saleh Zaher Al Mazroui and Faisal Al-Shehhi is currently on a visit to Indonesia as per the guidance of Chancellor Ibrahim Bumelha Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the MBRMHCF to conduct a field survey to determine the damages caused by the earthquake that hit the cities in West Sumatra, Indonesia. Bumelha stressed the importance of the relief operations undertaken by the Foundation in different parts of the world stemming from the belief in the need to deliver the necessary support to those affected by natural disasters. He explained that the humanitarian activities come as per the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to assist our brothers in times of trial.
