I agree that having the about dialog would be worth it. Though I am
not sure if it is desirable to depend on update.configurator.
However, maybe we can get away without the update.configurator.
Feel free to file an enhancement request in order to consider this
feature for 1.3 (we already have feature freeze for 1.2)
