Having the line should be the default and not having it is likely to cause a few problems with other programs. Since this is a minor glitch the bug-fix will be released directly on the next versions. Thank you for your help. -- cannot contact Apache https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/273124 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Rapache Developers, which is subscribed to Remote Apache Management tool . Status in rapache: New Bug description: On Rapache start I have "Warning cannot contact Apache". I see that in my host file there was no setting for localhost. After that I've added the line "127.0.0.1 localhost" Rapache started to work without problems. I don't know if I have removed that line from the hosts file or it is by default, but anyway in that case Rapache could contact Apache by 127.0.0.1 _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~rapache-devel Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~rapache-devel More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
