Bug description:
This isn't a bug but rather a feature request.
How many times do permission problems occur because of incorrect server
settings/configuration files renders Apache error messages?
e.g.
"Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server."
Although this isn't an Apache problem, using an Apache tool to help diagnose
and fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.
Why should an Apache tool look into this? Well, if I set a vhost to sit at
/home/brett/localhost and /home/brett is 700, then Apache won't be able to
access /home/brett/localhost. A program that can test Apache's permissions as
'www-data' or whatever the user/group is set as, then the user can quickly
diagnose these problems.
Just a though :)
