Personally I use the latest version of pyexiv2, which you can add to Ubuntu like this: sudo apt-add-repository ppa:pyexiv2-developers/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get dist-upgrade However this may install some other programs which use pyexiv2, and have not been changed to use pyexiv2 >= 0.2.0. I don't use those other programs very much, so it doesn't bother me. It might be different for you. Damon -- http://www.damonlynch.net
