an assembly configuration is needed before a release can be cut. i think adding one to the application module makes most sense.
i prefer to include 'apache' in the name of jars so i'm going to need to rename the modules. the build may be out of action for a little whilst i'm doing this. feedback, tips and tricks welcomed :-) - robert
