FWIW, Buildbot reports the same errors as Scott [1] and now fails since I added the assembly:assembly step. [1] - http://ci.apache.org/builders/rat_trunk/builds/48 Running it with --debug gives it this output : http://ci.apache.org/builders/rat_trunk/builds/50/steps/compile/logs/stdio Hopefully that will help. Let me know please if Buildbot can do other tests for the project. For now I will leave assembly:assembly and --debug turned on in Buildbot, so any new commits to Rat project will see failure reports come to this list until such a time as the problems are solved or you tell me to alter the tests once more :) Gav... > > - robert
