IMHO getting the legal stuff (LICENSE, NOTICE etc) right by hand for complex applications composed from numerous libraries (such as Apache James 3.0) is tough. Over the last couple of weeks I've been coding something (in Java) that aims to automate more of this process, and which includes validation. For want of a better name, I think of it as Whisker and hope to expose command line, maven and ant interfaces.
Opinions? Would whisker fit here? Robert
