Hi,

I couldn't find any references to this, so if this idea has already been
floated, please excuse me.

I was using Rawstudio to convert a fairly large group of images. I find
applying the adjustments and even performing the conversions to be as quick
and easy as any other RAW conversion software I've used (although the batch
export would make it even more so ;) ). My procedure is as follows:

1. Go through each photo assigning priority without making any adjustments
at all.
2. Go through the subset of good photos and make the required adjustments
for color balance, exposure etc..
3. Cursor through each file and hit Ctrl-S to export each raw file.

The only hiccup in the process is that there is no visual indication that a
file has been exported. The only thing I can do is watch the status bar to
see the 'file exported' message. But as I'm going through 30 or 40 photos in
rapid succession (using the cursor keys to move to the next photo and Ctrl-S
to export each one) it's easy to forget if I've actually exported one photo
or another. Sometimes I go back and re-export it if I'm not sure (which
generates additional copies and slows the whole procedure).

Have you thought of adding some visual cue to the thumbnail - maybe the
ubiquitous checkmark - indicating that a photo has been exported? Maybe
also a quick pop-up progress bar (without confirmation button) showing when
the program is actually doing the conversion (although again, the status bar
already tells me that).

Just a couple of suggestions.

Richard
