While we are at this; the GNOME guidelines for tooltips on menu items¹
(they are filled with the content of "Comment" field) recommends using
imperative verbs to compose the help text.
In this light, the current

Comment=Open source raw-image converter and manipulation application

does not fit very much. Maybe a better version could be:

Comment=Read, manipulate and convert digital camera raw-images

Moreover, the generic name:
  GenericName=Raw converter
looks a little too much generic :). I suggest:
  GenericName=Raw images converter
