While I don't know about Razor on OS X (or much at all about OS X) I've seen that error message from make before. When I saw it the cause was a bug in old versions of GNU make that was fixed by version 3.79.1. So if you do "make --version" and it tells you you've got something older than that then I'd try upgrading. The latest version of GNU make is 3.80.
